INOTA FESTIVAL – HOUSE RULES

Dear Visitor,

These house rules outline the conditions for entering and staying at the INOTA Festival site. Please read them carefully and follow them – they exist to ensure that everyone can enjoy the event in a safe, relaxed and respectful environment.

By participating, you automatically accept the terms described here. The festival’s General Terms and Conditions contain additional rules.

Venue: Inota Power Plant, Várpalota Dates: 27–30 August 2026

I. ENTRY AND STAY ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS

VENUE CONDITIONS

The festival takes place on a former industrial site – the Inota Power Plant. Only marked routes and designated areas may be used. Please be aware: the terrain is uneven and unpaved in some places – watch your step.

WRISTBANDS

Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband upon arrival. You must wear this wristband for the entire duration of your stay. Wristbands are personal and non-transferable. Damaged, altered or invalid wristbands do not entitle you to remain at the festival – in such cases, you will be asked to leave.

ENTRY TIMES

Daily entry is valid from 14:00 until 10:00 the following morning. There is no overnight accommodation inside the festival grounds. Camping is available at a separate location under separate rules.

FOOTWEAR

Only closed-toe shoes are allowed on the festival site. Flip-flops and sandals are not permitted – this is for your own safety.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not allowed on the festival site:

● Drugs, pyrotechnics, weapons, glass objects, umbrellas

● Knives with a blade over 8 cm, pepper spray, throwing stars, or any dangerous objects

● Alcoholic beverages

● Drones – unless pre-approved in writing

Please note: bag checks may be conducted at random. Your cooperation with security staff is required.

FOOD & DRINK

● You may bring water or soft drinks in 1 PET bottle up to 2.5 liters.

● In the event of a heatwave, additional reasonable amounts of water are allowed.

● Alcohol and large quantities of food or tobacco (i.e. commercial quantities) are prohibited.

Under 18s

Under 18s may only attend the festival with an adult. After 22:00, entry is restricted to those 18 and over.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

Vehicles may only enter the festival site with prior authorization. A designated parking area is available outside the festival grounds. As parking capacity is limited, we encourage the use of public transport or taxis.

ANIMALS

Only assistance dogs (e.g. guide or therapy dogs) defined by law are allowed. Please bring valid documentation and a muzzle if possible. You are fully responsible for your dog’s behavior.

ACCESSIBILITY

The festival site is not fully accessible. Visitors with limited mobility may attend at their own risk.

II. CODE OF CONDUCT

BEHAVIOR & ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Please behave respectfully and in a way that suits the spirit of the event. The site is a unique industrial heritage venue – treat it with care.

We have selective waste collection points across the area – use them responsibly and sort your waste properly.

PHOTO & VIDEO

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes by INOTA and its partners. By participating, you consent to being filmed or photographed. If you are a public figure, your name and image may be used without separate permission.

You may take photos or videos for personal use only. Using them for commercial purposes or identifying other visitors without their consent is not allowed.

COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY

All commercial, promotional, or marketing activity requires prior written consent from INOTA.

ALCOHOL & DRUGS

We do not serve alcohol to underage or intoxicated visitors. Drug possession and use is illegal and strictly prohibited.

DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR

Body surfing, mosh pits, and wall of death-type activities are prohibited. Visitors who engage in these may be warned or removed from the venue.

DEMONSTRATIONS

Any demonstration must be pre-approved by INOTA. If the approval is revoked, the activity must end immediately.

COOPERATION WITH STAFF

Trained staff ensure the safety of the festival. Please cooperate with them at all times, especially in emergency situations.

If you wish to report a concern, you can do so at the info point.

DRONE USE

Drones are only permitted with prior written authorization, in full compliance with laws and safety requirements.

III. OTHER PROVISIONS

LIABILITY

INOTA Fest Ltd. is only liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence. We are not liable for any other damages.

PARKING

The designated parking area is not guarded. We are not responsible for any valuables left in your vehicle.

WEATHER

The event will go ahead in rainy or windy conditions. In case of force majeure or legal orders, programs may be cancelled or modified.

PROGRAM CHANGES

We reserve the right to change the festival program.

UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS

If you are found on the premises without a valid wristband, you will be required to purchase a ticket. Otherwise, you will be removed and denied further entry.

INFO & LOST PROPERTY

If you have a question, find or lose something, please visit the info point. You can report lost items or hand in anything you’ve found there as well.

FIRST AID

A dedicated first aid station will be available throughout the event. In case of an accident or emergency, notify festival staff immediately.

INOTA Festival is an inclusive and welcoming space. Everyone is welcome — regardless of gender, background, religion or identity.

Hateful, discriminatory or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated. Thank you for respecting these rules and the community around you.
